Multi-State Withholding

Reporting for Business Travelers

Thursday, October 15, 2015

Join us at our Breakfast Meeting on Thursday, October 15, 2015 with speaker, Richard Green, to discuss multi-state withholding and how to report wages for employees working in multiple states.

We have all experienced the complexity of employees in multiple states. Adding to this complexity our employees never seem to stay put in just one state. This Breakfast Meeting will review:

  • State UI basics & wage sourcing
  • Key challenges
  • Nonresident state income tax withholding
  • Reciprocity
  • De minimis rules or exceptions
  • Controlling obstacles & risks and compliance policy design
  • Practical issues and internal controls
